Family & Esthetic Dentistry of Hamden has been creating beautiful smiles for over 25 years. We are a comprehensive dental practice that provides all levels of care for all ages of patients from simple cleanings and fillings to complex cosmetic procedures. Dr. Howard Charney and Dr. Kenneth Fratarcangeli, along with our friendly and skilled staff work diligently to keep up with the latest advances in dentistry and utilize state of the art dental technology to deliver optimal dental care. Don’t rush when you brush!
We recommend that you brush your teeth twice a day for at least two minutes to remove plaque. We may be dating ourselves here, but “All Shook Up” by Elvis Presley, “Respect” by Aretha Franklin and “Can’t Buy Me Love” by the Beatles are the perfect (length) songs for brushing your teeth. Don’t know these old (great) songs? Try “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X.
Come in and see us!
It’s a standard dental recommendation that both children and adults should visit the dentist every 6 months for a cleaning and oral exam. There may be exceptions for which we would want to see you more often, but for most, it’s twice a year.
Don’t forget to floss!
Cleaning between your teeth at least once a day using an interdental cleaner (like floss, dental picks or water flosser) helps to prevent cavities and gum disease.
